Only Marketers Who Continually Try to Get Better Achieve the High Conversion Rates Others Only Dream Of...
ParagraphI just committed a writing faux pas. I left a preposition dangling at the end of my headline above. Gasp! My English teacher would keel over if she only knew...
But writing online isn't about perfecting your knowledge of the English language and writing rules. It's about connecting to an audience and being able to convey your message to them.
And to do that, you have to learn different ways to write and test them on your niche market like legitimate essay writing services for example do.
I feel sorry for people who come onto a marketing forum complaining they can't write, looking for a work-around. If they only knew - Internet marketing is almost all about writing, with a bit of audio and video sprinkled in here and there.
You have to know how to write:
I took 7 guinea pigs and asked them what they wanted to improve about their writing.
When I sent out a notice to my list asking if anyone wanted to be my guinea pig for this course, I never expected the number of replies that came in - hundreds!
I chose 7 people - Charity, Hugh, Bonnie, Jeff, Rosie, Jane, and Darwin. I chose them based on their unique writing obstacles - they all had a different one and all seven had the desire to get better at it!
I told them they could have each report FREE, but in return I wanted honest feedback - what they loved, what they were confused by, what they disagreed with - I wanted truth.
In case you don't know me, I'll explain why I work with guinea pigs. I don't like giving products to friends for testimonials because it's so phony. I prefer to take someone who really wants to learn and get their raw feedback so that I know whether or not I did a good job teaching the topic.
A guinea pig can tell me, "Hey Tiff! You mention such and such, but you didn't explain it in more detail," and then I can go back BEFORE the product is released and add those details.
Sometimes when you're already good at something, you forget what others don't know.
I personally feel this ought to be required for anyone putting out an info product.
Don't buy what you already know...
I was originally going to make this a membership site. But who wants to spend money on certain topics they don't need?
So instead, I'm dividing this up into multiple reports that are very narrow in nature. That way you can pick and choose which ones apply to your individual writing obstacles.
For example, if you're a pro at grammar, spelling and punctuation, then skip that report! Or, if you want to make sure you know everything you should, grab it - it's up to you.
